Q
I'm a believer now. First sale came from the weirdest place
I was about to give up. 2 weeks, $180 spent on FB ads, zero sales. I was starting to think this whole thing is a scam Then yesterday someone bought my product. But it didn't come from my ads. It came from a random TikTok I posted like a week ago and forgot about. Just showed the product for 15 seconds, no editing, got like 400 views I don't get it. Why would TikTok work but not my ads?? Its the same product and same store

Q
Is €5/day even enough to test anything? Feeling like I can't afford to learn
My total budget for this "experiment" is €300. Every course says test with €5-10/day per ad set but also says you need statistical significance which takes hundreds of clicks. With €5/day I get maybe 50-80 clicks before I'm broke. That doesn't feel like enough data to know if a product is viable or if my ad is just bad. People with bigger budgets can test 10 products in a month. I can barely test 2. Is there a way to actually test properly on a tiny budget? Or am I better off saving up more before even trying? Don't want to waste €300 learning nothing.

Q
TikTok ads feel like a slot machine - am I doing something wrong?
Started running TikTok ads 3 weeks ago after everyone said Facebook is "dead" and TikTok is where it's at. My experience so far: - Day 1-3: 4 sales at €12 CPA (amazing!) - Day 4-7: 0 sales, same spend - Day 8-10: 2 sales at €45 CPA - Day 11-15: 1 sale - Day 16-21: turned it off, cried a little Total: €380 spend, 7 sales, €54 average CPA on a €35 product The inconsistency is killing me. One day it works, next day same ad same budget same everything and nothing. At least with Facebook I felt like I could diagnose what was wrong. With TikTok it feels completely random. Are others experiencing this? Is this just "how TikTok is" or am I missing something fundamental? For context: selling a pet product, targeting pet owners, creative is me actually using the product with my dog.

Q
Is it worth posting organic TikToks for my product if I'm mainly planning to run Meta ads?
My strong side is not content, but I see so many people getting “free traffic” from TikTok. At the same time: - I'm planning to run mainly Facebook/Instagram ads - I work full-time, so I don't have endless time to make 5 videos per day Questions: 1. Is it worth trying to post 2–3 organic TikToks per week **just** to build some extra traffic + social proof, or is that a distraction? 2. Do you actually see a noticeable difference in ad performance if your brand has some organic content running? 3. Any simple TikTok content ideas for product-based stores that don't require becoming a full-time influencer?

Q
As a beginner, should I test more creatives or more audiences first?
I have a limited ad budget and I don't know where to put my testing focus. Some people say: - “Creatives are 80% of results, test as many as possible” Others say: - “Audience targeting is everything, test a bunch of interests/lookalikes” My situation: - Budget: about $20–$30/day - Niche: pet grooming - I have: - 3 video creatives - 2 image creatives - A bunch of possible interests to target Questions: 1. For a small budget, is it smarter to: - Keep audience broad and test many creatives? - Or keep a few creatives and test many audiences? 2. What does your **simple** testing structure look like when you launch a new product?

Q
My campaigns keep resetting learning phase – am I editing too much?
Meta question (literally). I’ve read that you shouldn’t touch your campaigns too often or they keep going back into the “learning phase”. Thing is: - I'm a beginner - I keep wanting to tweak audiences, budgets, creatives - Every time I do, it shows “learning limited” or “learning” again Details: - 3 ad sets, $10/day each - Optimization event: Purchase - I'm making changes almost every day (turning off ads, changing budgets, etc.) Questions: 1. How often should a **beginner** realistically touch their campaigns? 2. Which changes reset the learning phase and which are “safe”? 3. Is it better to let a “bad looking” ad set run longer to exit learning, or cut it earlier to save money?

Q
Getting sales but ROAS is 1.2... how do I improve this to actually make profit?
I'm finally getting consistent sales but I'm barely breaking even and I don't know how to improve my numbers. Current situation: - Spending $80/day on Facebook ads - Getting 4-6 sales per day - Product price: $39.99 - Product + shipping cost: $14.50 - ROAS: 1.2 (so for every $80 spent, I'm getting $96 in sales) So I'm making like $16/day in revenue but after product costs I'm basically at zero or slightly negative when you factor in Shopify fees, transaction fees, etc. I know people say you need at least 2.5-3 ROAS to be profitable but I'm stuck at 1.2 and I don't know what to change. Things I've tried: - Different ad creatives (tested 5 variations) - Different audiences (broad vs interest-based) - Different ad copy - Raising and lowering budget Nothing seems to improve the ROAS significantly. I get more sales when I spend more, but the ratio stays about the same. Is 1.2 ROAS fixable or does this mean the product just isn't viable? What actually makes ROAS improve - better ads or better store? I feel like I'm SO close to profitability but can't figure out what lever to pull to get there.

How do I structure my very first Facebook testing campaign without burning my whole budget?
Total beginner here and I'm overwhelmed by all the advice on YouTube. Some people say: - Start with CBO - Others say start with ABO - Some say run 10 ad sets, others say 2-3 - Some say 1 creative, others say 10 variations I only have about $400 total to test my first product and I really don't want to blow it in a week with nothing to show for it. Details: - Product price: $39.99 - Niche: pet grooming - I'm targeting US only - I have 3 different video creatives and 2 thumbnails - I know how to set up the pixel, events, etc., but not how to structure the actual campaign in a smart way If you were starting TODAY with a small budget, how would you structure your first testing campaign? - CBO or ABO? - How many ad sets? - How many creatives per ad set? - What daily budget would you use? I'm not trying to scale to the moon yet, I just want a SIMPLE framework that tells me when to kill an ad set and when to keep it running so I can learn without going broke.

Q
TikTok ads vs Facebook ads for beginners - which one is better in 2025?
I'm about to start testing ads for my store and I'm trying to decide between TikTok and Facebook. I have about $500 budget to test with and I don't want to split it and waste money on both platforms. From what I've read: TikTok Ads: Supposedly cheaper CPMs Younger audience (good for trendy products?) Harder to get approved Need video content Facebook Ads: More expensive but more stable Better targeting options Easier to get started Can use image ads I'm selling beauty/skincare products (LED face masks) targeting women 25-40. Which platform would you recommend for someone just starting out? Also, is it true that TikTok ads are way cheaper than Facebook? I keep seeing people say TikTok CPMs are like $2-3 while Facebook is $8-10, but I don't know if that's actually accurate. Would really appreciate advice from anyone who's tested both!

Google Shopping suspended my Merchant Center… what usually causes this?
I finally set up Google Merchant Center and I got suspended after like 1 day. It says something about misrepresentation / policy but I'm not even doing anything shady. Store has: - shipping policy - refund policy - contact page What are the common reasons? I'm in EU if that matters.

My CPC is cheap but I get almost no add-to-carts – what does that actually mean?
Been running Meta ads for 10 days and I'm confused as hell. Stats (avg): - CPC: around $0.45 - CTR (link): ~2.3% - Landing page views: ~100–120/day - Add to carts: 1–2 per day - Purchases: 0 Everyone says cheap traffic is good, but if people aren't adding to cart… is that actually good? Product: - Women's posture corrector, selling for $34.99 - Targeting women 25–45, US Does cheap CPC + no ATC mean: - My ad is attracting the wrong people? - My product page sucks? - My offer (price, guarantee, etc.) is bad? I don't know if I should focus on changing the ad or fixing the store. How do you interpret this kind of situation?

Q
Are UGC-style ads really better than polished product videos for beginners?
Everywhere I look, people are screaming “UGC is king”. But I'm not sure what to actually do as a beginner. Options I'm seeing: - Record “selfie” style talking videos myself (but I'm not a woman and my product is for women lol) - Pay UGC creators (but I'm on a budget) - Use supplier footage and try to make it feel more real with text, sound, etc. My product: - Skincare-related (pore vacuum device) - Selling to women 18–35 Questions: 1. Is UGC really **that** important in 2025 or can you still make supplier footage work if the editing is good? 2. If you were me with low budget, what would be your first ad type? 3. Any simple formula for a UGC script that doesn't feel fake and cringe? I don't want to overpay for UGC if basic, well-edited videos would be enough to test first.

Ad blindness is real. CTR dropped from 2% to 0.4% overnight.
I had a winner (I think). Made 5 sales on Saturday. Sunday comes, spent same budget, CTR tanked hard. \n\nIs it possible for an ad to fatigue that fast (in 3 days)? Or is Sunday just a bad day for ecom?

Anyone here doing Google Shopping instead of Facebook? Curious about the differences
I keep seeing people mention Google Shopping as an alternative to Facebook ads but I can't find much info about it for dropshipping specifically. My situation: I've tried Facebook ads for 2 products, spent about €200 total, got a few add to carts but no sales. The whole experience felt like throwing darts blindfolded. What I don't understand about Google Shopping: - Don't people need to already be searching for your product? How does that work for unique products? - Is it actually cheaper than Facebook? - Do you need different types of products for it to work? Would love to hear from anyone who's actually tried both. I'm not opposed to learning something new if it means less gambling on "interest targeting."

Getting clicks and add-to-carts but nobody completes checkout - what could be causing this?
This is driving me insane. My ads are performing well, people are clicking, adding products to cart, but then they just... don't buy. My stats from the last week: - Ad spend: $340 - Link clicks: 312 - Landing page views: 287 - Add to carts: 23 - Purchases: 2 So I'm getting an 8% add-to-cart rate which seems solid, but only 2 people actually completed checkout out of 23 who added to cart. That's like a 91% cart abandonment rate. I'm selling a skincare tool (jade roller + gua sha set) for $34.99. The product page looks good to me - I have photos, a description, some bullet points about benefits. Checkout is standard Shopify checkout. What could be making people add to cart but then not buy? Is this normal? Should I be retargeting them or is there something wrong with my checkout that's making them leave? I'm so close to sales but something is stopping them at the last step and I can't figure out what it is.

Spent $320 on ads, got 47 add-to-carts but only 2 purchases. What's the issue?
I'm really confused about my numbers and need help understanding what's going wrong. Campaign details: - Running Facebook ads for 10 days - Total spend: $320 - Product: Posture corrector brace ($36.99) - Link clicks: 428 - Landing page views: 391 - Add to carts: 47 - Initiated checkouts: 12 - Purchases: 2 So people are clicking my ads (good sign I think?), they're adding to cart at a decent rate (47 out of 391 = 12% add-to-cart rate), but then something happens and they don't buy. What's really confusing me is that 47 people added to cart but only 12 even STARTED checkout. That means 35 people added to cart and then just... closed the page? And then of the 12 who started checkout, only 2 actually completed it. I feel like I'm bleeding potential customers at every step and I don't understand why. Is this normal drop-off or is something seriously broken? The product itself seems solid - posture correctors are popular, the price is competitive, and my ad creative is getting good engagement (lots of likes and shares). Where should I even start looking to fix this? The product page? The cart page? The checkout? I'm lost.

My Facebook ads have 0.4% conversion rate... is this normal or is something broken?
I've been running ads for about 3 weeks now and I'm getting sales but barely breaking even. I'm spending about $70/day and getting maybe 2-3 sales per day. My numbers: - CTR: 2.1% (seems good?) - Landing page views: ~150/day - Add to cart rate: around 8% - Conversion rate: 0.4% Product is a fitness resistance band set, selling for $39.99. I'm targeting fitness enthusiasts 25-45. Everyone keeps saying I need 2-3% conversion rate to be profitable but I'm stuck at 0.4% and I don't know why. My ads are getting clicks and people are adding to cart but then they just leave. Is 0.4% normal when starting out or should I be hitting higher numbers? What's a realistic conversion rate for dropshipping? I feel like I'm doing something wrong but can't figure out what.

Q
Spent €150 on Facebook ads, got 2000 clicks, 0 sales - is my product dead?
Just finished my first real ad test and I'm honestly crushed. Product: LED reading light that clips onto books Price: €24.99 (cost is €6 from supplier) Audience: targeted "book lovers", "kindle", "reading" interests, age 25-55 Results after €150: - 2,147 link clicks - 0 add to carts - 0 sales - CTR was 2.1% which I read is decent? My landing page has the product photos from AliExpress (I know, I know), a basic description, and I'm using a free Shopify theme. Is the product just bad? Or is there something else going on? I don't understand how I can get 2000 people to my site and not a single one even adds to cart. Feeling pretty defeated right now. This was money I really couldn't afford to lose.

Spending $50/day on Facebook ads but only got 1 sale in 2 weeks... what am I doing wrong?
Hey everyone, I'm really frustrated right now. I've been running Facebook ads for my dropshipping store for about 2 weeks now. My daily budget is $50 which is pretty much all I can afford at this point. Here's my situation: - Total ad spend so far: ~$700 - Sales: literally just 1 sale ($32 product) - I'm selling phone accessories (magnetic car mounts) - My ads are getting clicks (CTR is around 1.8%) but nobody buys - I tried 3 different ad creatives, same result I see people on YouTube saying they're profitable at $30/day budgets but I'm just bleeding money here. My product has good reviews on AliExpress and I priced it at 3x cost. Is my store the problem? The ads? I don't even know what to look at anymore. Should I just give up on this product and try something else? Any advice would be really appreciated because I'm close to my limit here.

I'm testing a simple home product (not even controversial) and my CPM is like €25-€35. CTR is okay-ish (1.6%) but at that CPM my CPC becomes painful fast. Is this just normal now in EU? Or is my creative/account messed up? I'm a beginner so I don't know what's "bad" anymore.
