How many sales until you start retargeting?

Some people say retarget after 1–2 sales, others say wait until you have a lot more. How many sales or how much traffic do you normally have before starting retargeting campaigns?

Alright, I will just launch a small retargeting ad and not overthink it.

Retargeting with 0 sales is fine, it is just warming up your pixel. It is not magic though, it will not fix a broken offer.

You do not need a crazy number. Once you have a couple hundred visitors and at least a few add to carts, you can start a simple retargeting campaign.
