Question
I'm a believer now. First sale came from the weirdest place

I was about to give up. 2 weeks, $180 spent on FB ads, zero sales. I was starting to think this whole thing is a scam
Then yesterday someone bought my product. But it didn't come from my ads. It came from a random TikTok I posted like a week ago and forgot about. Just showed the product for 15 seconds, no editing, got like 400 views
I don't get it. Why would TikTok work but not my ads?? Its the same product and same store

congrats on the sale but also this is a wake up call for me. I only do paid traffic

Yep. Most stores are accidentally built for warm traffic only. Then people run cold ads and wonder why nobody buys

damn I never thought about it like this. So the same store can work for some traffic and not others?

Exactly. Warm traffic vs cold traffic. They need different things. Cold traffic from ads needs way more convincing on your product page - more proof, better copy, clearer offer. Your store might be fine for warm traffic but not ready for cold
OP
•12/24/2025this makes so much sense. My store doesn't sell hard enough for skeptical people. I need to fix that before I spend more on ads

Because the TikTok person actually saw the product being used before clicking. They already knew what it was and wanted it. Your FB audience only saw an ad - they're colder and more skeptical when they land on your store
OP
•12/24/2025ohhhh so the tiktok viewer was already kinda sold before they even got to my store?
