Should I use the same creatives on TikTok + Meta or make different ones?

I have limited time so I'm trying to be efficient.
Is it okay to use the exact same videos on TikTok and Facebook/IG ads? Or do you guys make platform-specific edits?
I keep hearing “TikTok style” and “Meta style” but I don't know what the real difference is.

I reuse the same clips but I export 2 versions:
- TikTok: more chaotic, faster cuts
- Meta: slightly slower + clearer text overlays
Saves time and works fine.

TikTok hates “ads”. Meta also hates ads, but TikTok hates them faster.
If your video looks like you made it in Canva, TikTok will punish you.

You CAN reuse, but you should at least adapt the first 2 seconds.
TikTok: faster, more raw, more “in the moment”.
Meta: can handle slightly more explanation + captions.
If you do nothing else:
- cut the intro
- add captions
- make the hook visual
Same core footage, different packaging.
