Question

My product page feels "flat"… how do you write copy that actually converts?

Posted by •10/24/2025
I can build a clean Shopify page but the copy always feels boring.

I see competitor pages and they somehow make the same product feel premium and like "I need this".

Is there a simple structure you follow? I'm not trying to write a novel but I need it to convert.

Also: cut the fluff.

No one cares that it's "high quality ABS plastic" unless that prevents a pain.

Translate features -> benefit -> specific situation.

Example:
Feature: waterproof
Benefit: doesn't die
Situation: you can use it in the shower / kitchen and not panic.

Simple structure that works for me:

1) One-line promise (outcome)
2) The problem (make it specific)
3) The moment of pain (when it hits in real life)
4) The solution (your product)
5) Proof (reviews, demo, numbers)
6) Risk reversal (returns, guarantee)

Most pages are flat because they describe features.

People buy: outcome + emotion + proof.

The "moment of pain" part is interesting. I think my page is too generic.

Do you literally write like a mini story? Or just 2-3 sentences that describe that moment?
