Is it normal to get add-to-carts but no checkouts?

I am getting add-to-carts but almost nobody reaches checkout. What usually causes this problem? Price, shipping, trust, or something else?

Yeah I am adding shipping at the last step. I will make it clear earlier or bake it into the price.

Check if you are forcing account creation. Guest checkout usually helps a lot.

This usually means there is friction in cart or checkout. Unexpected shipping costs or too many steps.
