How many products should a new store have?

Some people say one-product stores are best, others say 3–5 products is smarter for testing. How many products would you start with on a new store?

I was planning to upload like 20 products. I will trim it down and make one main product the focus.

Focus your ads on one hero product. The others can be upsells or bundles later.

One main product with maybe 2–3 supportive products is enough at the start. Too many options confuse people.
