How important is SEO for a Shopify store in 2024?

Everyone says paid ads are what matters for dropshipping and ecommerce. Is SEO still worth spending time on for a small store or not really?

Okay so I will focus on ads first but still fix titles, descriptions and alt text.

SEO is more useful if you are building a long-term brand. Then blog content and ranking for problems can bring free traffic.

If you are doing pure dropshipping with fast product turnover, SEO is not the main thing. But basic on-page SEO is still worth doing.
