Do you test price increases or decreases first?

I am getting add-to-carts but low purchase rate. Should I try lowering the price first or increasing it to look more premium?

I will try a small discount first and see if checkout rate improves.

I only raise price when conversion is already solid. Higher price can sometimes increase perceived value though.

If people add to cart but do not buy, I test lowering the price or improving the offer first.
